Yes, if your application qualifies to receive the respective certification, you will obtain an e-certificate.

The exam-based assessment leads you to one of our designations: ERMAP (Enterprise Risk Management Associate Professional) certification or ERMCP (Enterprise Risk Management Certified Professional) certification, depending on your score. Each is designed to reflect certain Enterprise Risk Management competencies of the certification holder. It will assess your Enterprise Risk Management Hard Competencies (principles of Risk Management - ISO 31000, Risk Management Framework, and Risk Management Process) and also your Enterprise Risk Management Soft Competencies/Behavioral.

ERMA certification is valid for two years after the issuance.

ERMA has a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) program as a part of our certification program for ERMA certification holders. The CPD is essentially a mechanism that will enable you to maintain your ERMA certification (ERMAP, ERMCP, or CERG), by participating in various professional development activities that will be converted into Professional Development Units (PDUs). These PDUs are issued by ERMA to quantify the professional development activities conducted by you, as an ERMA certification holder. This is also a great way to keep track and support your ongoing educational and professional development.

The PDU are required to renew the certificate. With the PDU requirement completed, your certification will be automatically renewed for another 2 years, starting at the end of your certification validity period. Certification can only be renewed if you have acquired all of the PDUs and complete the renewal fee of USD150.

You will have an additional period of 6 months if you are not able to submit enough PDUs to renew your certificate. Unfortunately, if you are unable to renew your certification by the renewal deadline, you will be required to take part in another ERMA assessment session in order to get your certification back.
