Mr. Corbett is founder and President of SmartRisk, a risk and performance management consultancy located in Los Angeles, California. Tim has over 27 years of experience developing and implementing insurance and risk management programs and has worked with numerous companies including international firms Bechtel and EG&G (part of URS). He has held Vice President positions with international insurance carriers DPIC and Zurich with responsibilities for Underwriting, Risk Management and Claims Analysis. Tim is a member of American Institute of Architects (AIA) American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and sits on national risk management, practice management and environmental committees.

Mr. Corbett is called upon frequently as a speaker including selected as the only outside speaker to present at the “Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Pacific/Hawaii 2010 Conference" addressing "Sustainable Risks and LEED on Department of Defense (DOD) Projects". He has been published and interviewed on insurance and risk management topics and owns copyrights to risk management strategies.

Mr. Corbett holds a Bachelors of Science (BS) degree in Security and Risk Management, Masters of Science (MS) in Management, a degree in Environmental studies, Architectural Design Technology Certificate and is Leadership Energy Environmental Development (LEED) accredited.
